One of the suppliers from the very beginning was Duke Scientific from the USA, manufacturer of small polystyrene particles used as particle size standards, count controls and for diagnostic applications. In those days, Duke Scientific had no successful distributors elsewhere in Europe and beyond, so Distrilab gradually began fulfilling this role.
In 2007 Duke Scientific was acquired by Thermo Scientific. From that time onwards the Duke Scientific products are supplied under the Thermo Scientific brand.
Distrilab continues to be the major distributor of the Thermo Scientific particle group product lines and keeps most products in stock, in order to assure prompt delivery to its customers.
Distrilab’s products are marketed under trade name Distrilab Microspheres (distrilab-microspheres.com)
