muVaP is a high-tech startup originating from IMTEK (Department of Microsystems Engineering) at the University of Freiburg, Germany. Based on our unique piezoelectric technology, we develop the next generation of actuators, microvalves, and micropumps.

Our 2/2, 3/2, 3/3, and 5/2 microvalves consume only a fraction of the power of conventional technologies while operating silently and proportionally even under high pressures. Large orifices enable high flow rates while maintaining compact size, low weight, minimal heat generation, and fast response times.

Besides developing actuators, valves, valve arrays, and pumps, we collaborate closely with customers and partners to create tailored fluidic, pneumatic, and control solutions.
