For over 100 years, our company has stood for precision and quality in the production of glass instruments. Founded in 1919 by Karl Hecht in Sitzendorf-Unterweißbach, a new beginning followed in 1945 in Sondheim, Bavaria, after World War II. This was accompanied by strong growth, including additional sites in Germany and international locations in Switzerland, France and Austria from 1962 onwards.
By continuously expanding our product range and sales network, we strengthened our market position over the decades. Our quality management has been DIN EN ISO 9001 certified since 1995. Today, production is centralized in Sondheim while we operate globally. The acquisition by Steffen Wachter in 2023 marked another key milestone for the future.
