COOL line with DÜPERTHAL connect 24/7 monitoring
Refrigerated storage - fire-protected and temperature-monitored
Many laboratories store samples to be cooled that also have flammable properties. Conventional laboratory refrigerators are often used for this purpose, but they can easily become an unpredictable source of danger. Unprotected against external thermal influences, they pose a risk to employees, work materials and the infrastructure in the event of a fire.
Consequently, the BG Chemie (german employers' liability insurance association) points out that standard laboratory refrigerators are not storage facilities for flammable liquids. They are only used to store educts (flammable liquids) in the work process or to carry out test procedures (crystallization of products).
Fire protection for over 90 minutes
How can safe storage and a consistent fire protection concept of 90 minutes be implemented in practice when handling flammable media? The experts at DÜPERTHAL have the answer with the COOL line!
The COOL line cabinet series was developed to store flammable substances in a cooled manner and in compliance with TRGS 510. The TÜV-certified safety storage cabinets have classified fire protection type 90 (DIN EN 14470-1) and also have an integrated cooling unit with an explosion-proof interior. In the event of a fire, this provides sufficient time for evacuation and a safe buffer in order to take decisive action when fighting the fire.
Temperature monitoring 24/7
Depending on the COOL line model, the temperatures inside the refrigerator can be set from +2 °C to +16 °C. A smart add-on is also available for monitoring and long-term documentation of temperatures with the 24/7 cloud monitoring from DÜPERTHAL connect.
With the hardware and app combination, temperatures can be monitored preventively and displayed graphically in a device-independent internet browser. To do this, the sensors integrated in the COOL line continuously measure temperatures - the connected hardware sends the measurement data directly to the DÜPERTHAL connect software via the cloud. The data is stored securely in accordance with European and German data protection guidelines and can be accessed by the operator at any time and from anywhere.
State-of-the-art quality assurance
In the event of thermal anomalies, exceeding or falling below individually definable threshold values inside the enclosure, responsible persons (e.g. laboratory managers) can be informed as quickly as possible using DÜPERTHAL connect. The app can automatically send notifications and warnings by email and/or text message. The automated flow of information creates time to secure samples in good time, stabilize processes and ensure consistent cooling quality! Good to know - even in the event of a power failure, the monitoring system continues to store the measured parameters using batteries.
Organized storage
The DÜPERTHAL connect app offers additional added value in warehousing, in particular to relieve employees of non-value-adding activities. With the optional inventory management, stock levels and their locations can be individually maintained and managed within DÜPERTHAL connect. Using the search function, you can then quickly and easily find stock, storage locations or documents in the app. All storage locations can be created as digital twins and enriched with additional information.
The operational safety of the warehouses is also available digitally. An individual maintenance interval with personalized notification can be set for each warehouse, from cabinet to shelf.
