As a manufacturer of high-quality filter media, Hahnemühle uses its expertise to develop innovative filtration solutions in the life science sector with focus on diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, medicine, agriculture and nutrition. Hahnemühle's filter papers have been established worldwide as sophisticated consumables for more than 140 years. Until the beginning of 2000, the papers were assembled and marketed worldwide by Schleicher & Schuell. They are used in automatic measuring and production systems in the life science and quality control sectors. The company structure allows Hahnemühle to react quickly and flexibly. More than 150 different filter papers made of linters, cellulose, glass fibres & sustainable fibre are produced at the mill.
Hahnemühle's goal is to expand its expertise as a leading manufacturer of high-performance filter media in the biotechnology and laboratory sectors.
