The Fraunhofer ISC in Würzburg offers customized hardware and software solutions for modern LAB 4.0 concepts. The synthesis, production, processing and testing of materials or products can be accelerated and optimized with customer-specific robotic platforms.

Our current LAB 4.0 solutions already cover a wide range of areas such as glass, ceramics, biomaterials, additive manufacturing and lithium-ion batteries.

Our range includes not only plant technology and testing systems such as thermo-optical measurement technology, but also innovative digital tools and data platforms. These enable interoperability between humans, machines and AI and can be linked to existing data management processes or product passports, for example.
