ATTO-TEC GmbH is a fully privately owned company which develops and markets fluorescent labels and dyes. The 18-employee company located in Siegen in Southern NRW, was founded in 1999 by Karl-Heinz Drexhage and three colleagues as a spin-off of the University of Siegen. In the meantime ATTO-TEC is committed to being a first class provider of novel fluorescent labels that advance bioanalytical and biomedical research all over the world. It is staffed by internationally renowned scientists with long-time expertise in fluorescent dye chemistry. Fluorescent applications now have become so diversified and sophisticated that there is an ever growing demand for new and better fluorescent dyes.
