The HyperChrom GC is based on new technology and an innovative concept. Due to a superimposed spatial temperature gradient, the separation of substances takes place with a focusing effect of the peaks and at significantly lower temperatures. Despite short separation columns, a high resolution is achieved. By optimising all details of the measuring system, the peak shapes are almost ideal. The separations are very fast, with cycle times from 60 seconds. Despite these outstanding measuring properties, normal consumables are used in the GC. Especially normal fused silica separation columns, no expensive special columns or column modules. The user can easily exchange the columns himself.
